We Are Never Alone (Faith)

We are never, ever alone. God always walks beside us through every part of our busy day. Therefore, we need not worry about being alone. There is always someone with us. This may not be the friend from school that you want to be with, but you never are alone.
For us as kids, the only thing we want in today's society is to be accepted by others. Unfortunately, this can mean sacrificing our beliefs. Many kids do this. To be popular, kids put aside all that their parents have taight them and go on to doing things that were always looked down upon; such as smoking and drinking.
In the Word of Wisdom, we are told that these practices are bad for us. By disobeying the Word of Wisdom, we lengthen ourselves from God, and therefore are not as close to Him as we could be.
When we make the decision to not be around "friends" who smoke, drink, and practice other things that violate our beliefs, we can sometimes feel alone. Kids often tease others that don't want to do these things.
But we are never alone. God has promised us angels on both our right and left side. he is always with us and is there to guide us through everyday, if we accept His guidance.
As President Thomas S. Monson said: "Dare to stand alone. Dare to do what is right." And always follow the word of God.
